All stopped up for something
Coal loads waiting for the stacks to pass.
While the stack train poked along and we looked for the bridge the road signs said turn right...so we did. The bridge must have been built by a railfan as we kept coming back to the tracks to get there. Another gravel road and here's another coal train sitting there. So I took more pictures.
Moving east again.
After the stack train cleared up, this guy throttled up and headed east. Got a short movie clip of him easing on the power before he got to the bridge.
Pretty clean for coal cars!
Nice looking aluminum hoppers for Commonwealth Edison in Illinois.
Nice exposure butthead. Ugh, had to fool with the camera didn't you?
Above are two good reasons why you always check the camera settings...even on a digital. I was doing something and forgot to reset the exposure back to automatic. Results? some grossly over-exposed pictures!  Duh.

Lots more trains out here
