Finally it all came together about a week before R&T. I was cutting it close but it ran like a champ through the entire four days of the show so I guess it was all worth it. Here are pictures of the running product. The needle valve worked fine as did the buzz coil arrangement. A little white paint on the raised letters and she was ready for showtime. For that matter, so was I!
Here's a nice shot of the little bugger doing the slow-motion chug at Rough & Tumble. The Thermoil and St. Mary's got most of the attention but the Foos ran all day long with no more than oil checks. It was a real champ and I was really happy with it.
