Lots of stuff going on and fortunately the weather was nice. It's hard not to get a bunch of sun but at least we're not fighting the pouring rain like last year.
Renault likes to put all the body work outside. Makes for lots of things to look at. The crew here was very friendly including one guy who had a "Farley-esque" manner for dispensing all kinds of team information.
Hey! This looks just my garage! Of course, I'd never wear shorts to work in. The sneakers in matching team colors are a nice touch.
Toyota-who?
McLaren took time to do some practice pit stops for the crowd giving many an up close view of the mechanical wonders. It's easy to see how many of the pictures are taken: just reach over someone's head and shoot. Having the display on the digital makes this a snap. The shot at the lower right is one of the McLarens waiting for a tech inspection. The aerodynamic work on these things is a little esoteric to say the least. But it works.
